Overview

The Teaching in the UK Readiness Programme is a practical preparation course designed to support aspiring and internationally trained teachers in understanding and transitioning into the UK education system with confidence. The programme provides a structured introduction to how teaching works in the UK, including classroom expectations, safeguarding responsibilities, professional standards, curriculum frameworks, and routes into employment or further qualification. It is ideal for individuals who have teaching experience overseas, unqualified teachers currently working in schools, or career-changers exploring a teaching pathway.

Participants will gain insight into the UK school environment, including behaviour management, inclusive practice, SEND awareness, lesson planning, assessment, and professional conduct.
